Bookish Media Strategy is a digital marketing company specifically aimed at assisting authors with marketing themselves and their texts. In working with this client, I was tasked with two problems:
- The site wasn’t visually or functionally where the client wanted, and
- The site wasn’t generating organic business leads, leaving the client to actively pursue new clientele via other channels.
To resolve the first, I provided the client with a number of prebuilt themes compatible with their paid WordPress.com hosting package. We ultimately settled on a beautiful small business-oriented option, which I was then able to apply and configure to highlight what Bookish Media Strategy has to offer its clientele.
We then worked together to come up with better ways to measure the success of the new site treatments, as well as create as much cross traffic as possible with their successful LinkedIn presence. I setup and configured web analytics tools, customized search engine listings for the business, created content strategies that aligned with the clients needs and documented everything in great detail to support the client moving forward.
Ultimately it was a successful project and the client and I are very pleased with the results!
